One of the most prominent and most popular Nintendo's. It is one of the most successful franchise of Nintendo. Even some of the games entries is actually considered as of the best game ever to be created. Originally designed by the famous Japanese video game developers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. These guys are the games legacy which can thread back in time to 1986. The game was initially released in Japan in the Famicom. And it was later released for the NES platform. The franchise has managed to remain consistent with its release of good and quality games. This games have covered and spanned through various generation of known Nintendo device. Even the latest entry on the list BOTW, is available on the Nintendo Switch device. The list we are about to write contains the mainline of Zelda games.

This is essential when he battles enemies. Though this part of the franchise is considered the most unique part of the franchise.

The game mechanics has been refined and it follows the first entry concept idea. It introduces some new and unique features. Features like bows, arrows and other separate items. Link our hero is given ability to walk and run diagonally. Link has been upgraded with powerful item Pegasus Boots. With improved combat ability, Link can attack k sideways now. This entry of the game features multiple universe within the universe.

The next on the franchise is the Link's Awakening. It follows up on the story of the last entry. This entry doesn't feature the Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule. It doesn't feature the Triforce. It takes place outside the kingdom, in the lands of Koholint Island. For link to escape this nightmare, he is tasked to collect the 8 Instruments of Sirens. Which will be used to awaken the guardians of the island.

Gameplay and Storyline.

It follows the previous entry, as Link awakens on the island of Koholint. He is tasked to waking up the guardians of the island in order to leave. This entry features some cool graphics (colored). You can personalize your own custom dungeons in the game. The combat a action is more refined. And the game play better than previous entry.

It took a while before the release of the next installment. The reason being a change in graphics. The game upgraded from 2D to 3D, so much work was needed for the developers. For starters, it was called an ambitious game. As it blew the minds of the gamers. It introduced some cool features into the game. The storyline is not exactly known where and when it took place. But we have Link our warrior having acquired a horse. Epona, Link's horse allowed him to travel as fast as possible and shoot arrows while riding it.

This edition sees our hero forced to relive the same 3 days. Similar to the popular movie Ground-Hog day. Link is tasked to preventing a giant moon from incapacitating the whole land.

Much smaller scope of land compared to the previous entry. Has much darker and mature theme compared to previous entry.

Though we have two games, taking place in varying regions. Both tell an intricate and well connected story. You can only understand both games, when you play both. At first, you have to complete the first part of the game. Afterwards, you are given a form of password to move over to the other part which is a sequel.

This installment was at first planned to be a trilogy. But the idea was scrapped of due to some difficulties. The first part Oracle of Ages, is like a puzzled gameplay. While the other part the Oracle of Seasons. It has all the action and battle sequence you will enjoy.

Gameplay

The cartoonish gameplay and graphics was a bit of a divider among gamers. Though it is globally acclaimed as one of the best games of the franchise.

Well, the mechanics in this entry in only for this entry. Since we are dealing with a miniature version of our hero. No other entry here as used this concept.

This creature serves as a guide to our beloved hero. It adds a concept from the previous installments, a multiple dimensions concept.

It offers the gamers, a more grounded Zelda experience when they use a gamepad. It is one of the best and most acclaimed Installment. It won lots of awards with its stunning graphics, and amazing Storyline. This makes the game one of the GOAT video games produced.

It sees the game return to the top-dowm perspective of the original Zelda. It also introduces some new control techniques for players.
